Taco Trailer front door
No one remembers the real name of this restaurant; everyone just calls it the “Taco Trailer,” although, properly, it’s probably a bus. We all favor the alliteration, though, so “Taco Trailer” it is!

On the left, the trailer; on the right, the building;
between, outdoor dining; beyond, more outdoor dining
Unfortunately, the above picture doesn’t do justice because it lacks the wonderful, buoyant Mexican music that’s constantly playing. I’ve never seen anyone NOT smile upon entering this area. The joy of that music is infectious.

The counter in the inside dining room
If you’re not into eating outdoors, there’s a nice inside dining room plus another little alcove (my favorite spot). The indoor room has some wonderful, large round tables perfect for families and large parties.

The front of the trailer where the servers place your order
They have a full regular daily menu, but on weekends, they have fish tacos. Their ceviche is very, very fresh. The burritos can’t be beat. The prices are so low, I don’t see how they stay in business, but they’ve been a roaring success for several years now, so I, thankfully, we don’t need to worry…just enjoy. If you’re ever at the corner of Hillsborough and Nebraska Avenue, stop. They’re just to the west of the SW corner of that intersection. Eat there or take out.

Yes, the owner of the Taco, burritos and ceviches wants to tell too much with the name of his restaurant and they are all spanish words.
Ceviche is from Peru and Ecuador, a kind of seafood salad but with a lot of liquid sauce, there are ceviches of shrimp, fish and shell, shrimp is my favorite!!
Burrito is spainish is little donkey, a very noble animal, don’t know why they give such a strange name to the food.
