Dont we all wish some of that Florida roadside kitsch was still operational ! What I truly miss are the Stuckey’s that inhabited the interstate exits, they were truly a wonderland. Thanks for the pictures !
I live for these places all over Florida. I wish there was a book or some reference that tells where all of these “oddball” places are located. It would be my dream to just roadtrip all over the state, visiting and taking pictures of these places. I know there are people who share a like interest and would enjoy hearing from them. thank you
I would love to preserve that fruitstand, Do you know if it could be purchased? Enjoyed your pics, and I love Mt Dora, what a great place to visit! TY Grammer Marge
Hi, Marge. Glad you enjoy the pictures. I don’t know if the fruitstand is for sale, but it might be. It’s quite near the entrance to that enormous flea-antique market on the highway that Mt. Dora is famous for. — Hilton

Thanks, Greg. I’m trying to remember…are there still any Stuckey’s left up in Georgia? Yes, I loved them too. All those wonderful chotskis for sale.
Too bad it is neglected. It should be preserved.
